My father is a child of immigrants, the first person in our family to be born in America. While my Nonno and Nonna (my grandparents) started from humble origins, through hard work and dedication, they have achieved success that could only be found in America. My mother was raised by her mother and grandmother. Since there was not a man in the household, they were denied the ability to rent. They went on to buy their own home and my Grandmother entered the workforce at a time that such an endeavor was frowned upon. Due to their grit and perseverance, my mother became the first family member to graduate with a college degree. These values of hard work, dedication, and perseverance were instilled in my parents, and in turn, instilled in me.

Thanks to the values taught to me by my parents, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey, attained a Master’s of Public Policy from Rutgers, and earned a Master’s in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  I have conducted research in public policy for the private and public sectors, whereby I analyzed federal regulations, aided constituents in understanding how the laws applied to them, and worked with a State office to strengthen the STEM pipeline. Since then, I have spent the last few years in the Accounting field where I am an auditor that works on public entities. These public entities include municipalities, school boards, and county-wide institutions.

My academic and professional experiences prepared me to develop and fight for policies that will benefit the 25th legislative district. As Assemblyman, I would be able to analyze State policy in order to decide whether the pending law in front of me would be good for the People. Through my work in the private sector, I am able to recognize how laws and regulations can have a detrimental impact. Through my constituency work, I have a strong understanding of the practical impact of the laws and their effect on everyday Americans. Through auditing government offices, I know how local government works and how to solve the problems that plague our communities.
